Tomorrow, June 4, the Salt Lake City Council will hold a final public hearing on the City’s 2019-2020 proposed budget. Our Public Utilities budget is found within that document. Our four enterprise funds (which means they are supported by the rates you pay, not the tax-generated General Fund) are water, sewer, stormwater and street lighting. We encourage you to take a good look at our nearly $300 million proposed budget and come register any comments you have at tomorrow’s public hearing. It starts at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, Room 315 of the City and County Building at 451 S. State Street.
