A Message from Our Water Reclamation Facility Administrator

Jamey West, Administrator of Salt Lake City’s Water Reclamation Facility (WRF), shares insights on our efforts to replace the city’s 60-year-old wastewater treatment plant. As we enter year six of construction, we remain on track to complete the new, state-of-the-art facility by 2026. This critical project will help Salt Lake City meet stricter water quality standards while ensuring the continued safe treatment of wastewater before it returns to Great Salt Lake.
